Is travel in 2023 going to be the same as before Covid? That's the question many of us (in the travel industry and just in general) are thinking at this time of year.
Maybe! According to a new YouGov survey on behalf of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), our appetite for international travel has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
To give you some numbers, 63% of the 25,000 people questioned planned to travel abroad next year, and an impressive 27% planned to take three or more trips in 2023.
2022 was the year of uncertainty with travel plans. The pandemic challenges of travel have gradually cooled throughout the year. There is a feeling of regained confidence in following through with our travel plans for 2023.
